Charitable Support

By: Manor Walks

Cramlington based shopping scheme Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure has pledged to support local charities by offering up free designated space for fundraising within the centre.

The shopping centre based in the heart of the Northumberland town Cramlington is supporting the local community by permitting registered charities to occupy in a designated area within Manor Walks at nil cost to undertake a charity collection.

The aim is to support local registered Charities in their efforts to raise awareness and funding within their community. The scheme will allow one charity to operate on any given day within Manor Walks with up to 30 days available throughout the year.

To ensure that all charity requests are dealt with in a consistent manner at Manor Walks, all charities must apply for a designated space via an application process which will be reviewed and space allocated on a case by case basis.

Lee Farrier, Head of Estates at Advance Northumberland said: “We are delighted to be launching the charitable scheme at Manor Walks after all the community support that the centre has received over the years from its loyal customers and we wanted to give something back”.

Nick Lambert, Centre Manager at Manor Walks Cramlington, said: “It is important that Manor Walks, its customers and its community work closely together and we are committed to supporting organisations in Cramlington.”
