When will Manor Walks and the Retail Park reopen fully?
Manor Walks has remained partially open throughout the lockdown period as we provide many essential services to our community. We are following the official Government guidance carefully and we will be providing the latest updates on our website and social media channels including opening hours and what you can expect when you visit us.
Is Manor Walks remaining open for their usual opening hours or have they changed?
Manor Walks has remained partially open throughout this period however the centre opening times have been amended.
The Centre opening times are:
- Monday – Saturday: 8am-6pm
- Sunday- 9:30am-4:30pm
Individual store opening hours may differ, please check with the retailer before you visit.
How do I know which retailers will be open before I visit Manor Walks?
To find out if a shop you want to visit has re-opened, please check our website where we will be updating which retailers have opened daily.
How is Manor Walks going to keep the centre safe when you re-open?
We are doing everything we can to make sure our centre is safe place to visit and work. We have implemented social distancing measures and enhanced cleaning regimes throughout the centre, including our entrances, malls, toilets, retail services and back of house areas. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the centre for use as people come inside and throughout their visit with us. Soap and hot water are also available in our toilet facilities and we ask that people wash their hands regularly.
All our customers have a part to play to help us defeat the virus and we ask shoppers to please follow instructions provided by our teams, centre signage and tannoy announcements. If you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, please stay at home and follow Government and NHS advice.
Have Manor Walks staff received any training to support customers?
Yes, all staff have been through specific COVID-19 guidance/training to carry out their duties. If you need to speak to a member of our team please ensure you keep a 2m distance.
What sort of PPE will staff be wearing at Manor Walks?
Face visors and face covers will be worn by our teams where appropriate.
Can I wear a face mask/face covering?
Yes, following Government guidance, face coverings must be worn by all customers when visiting our shops.
How many cars are going to be allowed to park at the centre?
We will not be limiting the number of cars able to visit the centre. We do ask customers to ensure they are practicing social distancing whilst in the car park.
How long will I be allowed to park at the centre?
Our normal car parking time restrictions will resume from Monday 15th June. Customers are permitted to park free for 3 hours maximum. Park Plus passes are not in operation whilst the restaurants/cinema/leisure centre are closed.
Will there be a time limit on how long I can shop whilst visiting Manor Walks?
No, however our teams may need to manage the number of customers inside of the centre and we will be observing customer counts at regular intervals. It is important that we monitor capacity very carefully and stay within the recommended limits, please expect queuing systems outside of centre entrances during busier periods to regulate footfall.
Why do I have to go one way around the centre?
The one-way system supports the flow of foot traffic through the centre to enable social distancing for our customers. Our customers are asked to keep left however there will be signs in place to help you with directions.
Crossing points have also been implemented across the centre to make it easier to access other parts of the mall during your visit. We understand these measures may take a little longer than usual to walk however it has been put in place for your own safety.
Are you implementing a rule of one customer per family or can we visit as a family?
Government guidance says that where possible customers should shop alone unless they need specific assistance. If you are planning to bring your children with you, please make sure that they are always supervised and follow the social distancing guidelines.
Will there be toilets available in the centre?
After careful consideration there will be a limited number of toilet facilities available in the centre. To ensure social distance we will be operating one person at a time within the toilets which may cause queues at busier periods within the centre. Enhanced sanitising regimes will also be in place and we may need to close the toilets for a limited time whilst we undergo cleaning.
I have mobility issues, will there be seats available when I visit?
In order to discourage people gathering and to support social distancing measures there will be a limited number of seats available for mobility impaired customers. They will be marked as “Safe Seats” and we would ask customers to only use the seats provided if necessary whilst adhering to social distancing.
